Refund Policy
Last Updated · October 1, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to all educational programs and services offered by Codekaro / Efslon Coding School ("Codekaro", "we", "our", or "us").
This policy covers our live courses, recorded programs, cohort programs, live batches, workshops, masterclasses, mentorship programs, and any related educational services.
By making a payment, reserving a seat, or enrolling in any program or service offered by Codekaro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the payment and refund terms set forth in this policy and our Terms & Conditions.
1. Introduction
Codekaro / Efslon Coding School delivers intensive, mentor-led, and curriculum-driven coding education designed to help learners build practical engineering skills. Because our programs involve limited cohort seating, dedicated mentor allocations, scheduled live sessions, and immediate platform provisioning upon enrollment, all enrollments are governed by clear and transparent financial terms.
This Refund Policy sets out the exact terms governing fees, payments, and refund eligibility for all students and participants. All provisions in this policy are subject to applicable law.
2. Our Refund Policy at a Glance
Key Terms Summary
- All course, mentorship, workshop, batch, and program fees are non-refundable after enrollment.
- Any token amount, booking amount, or seat-reservation amount paid toward enrollment is non-refundable.
Please ensure that the program curriculum, schedule, format, and prerequisites meet your learning goals before completing your payment.
3. Payments Covered by This Policy
This policy applies comprehensively to all educational payments received by Codekaro, including but not limited to:
- Full course and program fees for live, cohort-based, or hybrid offerings
- Cohort enrollment and tuition fees
- Live batch enrollment fees
- Self-paced or recorded course enrollments
- Hands-on workshops, bootcamps, and masterclasses
- Mentorship program fees (including 1:1 mentorship and guided career tracks)
- Seat reservation fees, booking amounts, and enrollment deposits
- Token payments made toward securing admission or reserving an enrollment slot
- Any other educational programs, materials, or services offered by Codekaro
4. Non-Refundable Payments
Once a student's enrollment or payment has been confirmed by Codekaro, the applicable fee is strictly non-refundable. We allocate instructional resources, mentor capacity, server infrastructure, and cohort seats immediately upon confirmation of enrollment.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, fees remain non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to situations where a student:
- Changes their mind or preferences after completing the payment
- Decides not to attend or participate in the program
- Becomes unavailable due to work commitments, academic examinations, or personal reasons
- Experiences changes in their personal, professional, or academic schedule
- Decides not to continue with the syllabus, curriculum, or learning pace
- Does not access, view, or utilize the course portal, assignments, or recorded sessions
- Does not attend scheduled live sessions, doubt-clearing sessions, or webinars
- Stops participating at any stage after enrollment has commenced
5. Enrollment Transfer
If a learner is unable or no longer wishes to continue with an enrolled program, they may request to transfer their enrollment to another person they know, subject to Codekaro's approval and applicable program requirements.
An approved enrollment transfer does not constitute a refund. No amount will be refunded to the original learner. Once the transfer is completed, the original learner's access to the transferred enrollment will be discontinued and the new learner will become the enrolled participant.
The transferred enrollment remains subject to the original program's applicable terms, access period, batch schedule, and other conditions. Sharing login credentials or allowing another person to use an account without an approved enrollment transfer is prohibited under the Account Sharing Policy.
6. Seat Reservation and Token Payments
In certain programs, Codekaro may permit prospective students to pay a token amount, booking amount, or seat-reservation deposit to reserve an enrollment slot in an upcoming batch or cohort.
Any token amount, booking amount, or seat-reservation fee paid toward enrollment is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Payment of such an amount confirms the student's intention to enroll and secures a limited seat that is withheld from other prospective applicants.
If the student subsequently chooses not to complete the remaining program fee, fails to join the batch, or decides to withdraw, the token amount will be forfeited and will not be refunded, credited, or transferred to another student.
7. Refund Eligibility
Consistent with Section 14 of our Terms & Conditions, Codekaro does not provide routine, discretionary, or cooling-off refunds once an enrollment has been confirmed.
However, we recognize that unintentional payment-processing issues may occasionally occur at the payment gateway level. Issues involving:
- Duplicate payments where a customer has been charged more than once for the same transaction or enrollment
- Clearly identifiable technical payment-processing errors
- An incorrect payment status recorded by the payment gateway
- A transaction where funds were successfully debited from the customer's account or card, but the enrollment status was not reflected on the platform
may be reported to Codekaro for investigation and verification.
Please note that these circumstances represent technical payment-processing discrepancies, not a general refund, cancellation entitlement, or dissatisfaction guarantee. Codekaro will verify the transaction records with the payment gateway and banking partners before taking appropriate corrective action. No automatic refund is promised or implied.
8. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same course, batch, or transaction, you should notify Codekaro immediately with the following details:
- Your full name as registered during checkout
- Your registered email address
- Your mobile number, if applicable
- The specific program, course, or batch name
- The Payment Gateway Transaction ID, Order ID, or Payment Reference Number
- The exact date and approximate time of the transaction
- The total amount charged in each transaction
- Relevant payment confirmation screenshots or bank debit advice, if available
Upon receiving your communication, Codekaro will cross-check the details against the records of our third-party payment gateway. If a duplicate charge is confirmed, Codekaro will take appropriate corrective action to resolve the verified duplicate transaction through the original payment source.
9. Payment Gateway Issues
All online transactions on the Codekaro platform are processed securely through authorized third-party payment gateway providers (such as Razorpay, Cashfree, or other authorized payment partners).
If a transaction displays as failed or pending on screen, but funds have been debited from your bank account, credit/debit card, or UPI wallet, please retain your transaction reference and notify our team. Codekaro will verify the status against the payment gateway's merchant records.
Please note that Codekaro does not operate the banking infrastructure or interbank clearing networks and cannot control the settlement or release timelines of individual banks. In cases where a payment has failed at the gateway level without reaching Codekaro's merchant account, the debited amount is typically reversed automatically to the original payment source by the customer's issuing bank in accordance with standard banking procedures.
10. Batch Rescheduling and Postponement
Codekaro strives to maintain published schedules for all live lectures, interactive sessions, and mentorship calls. However, individual sessions or classes may occasionally need to be cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to:
- Internet connectivity failures or infrastructure outages
- Health issues or medical emergencies affecting the instructor or mentor
- Important public holidays or regional observances
- Other unforeseen operational, technical, or logistical circumstances
In such instances, the affected session will be rescheduled for the next available date or session window.
Furthermore, as established in Section 1 of our Terms & Conditions, overall batch completion may differ by up to three (3) months from the originally communicated completion date due to logistical considerations or unexpected contingencies.
Session rescheduling, class postponements, or batch completion timeline adjustments within these parameters do not constitute grounds for a refund or compensation.
11. Batch Shifting
To accommodate students facing unexpected scheduling conflicts, Codekaro provides an administrative batch-shift provision under Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions:
- A student may request one (1) batch shift within two (2) years from their original date of enrollment.
- Every batch-shift request is subject to seat availability in the requested upcoming batch and prior administrative approval.
- Once a batch shift has been granted and processed, no additional batch shifts will be permitted under any circumstances.
Batch shifting is an administrative scheduling accommodation provided at Codekaro's discretion and is strictly not a refund, cancellation, or cash credit. Codekaro does not warrant that every batch-shift request will be accepted immediately, as requests remain dependent on batch schedules and seat limits.
12. Mentorship Program Refunds
Mentorship programs operate on a customized, mutually agreed timeline established during student onboarding. The mentorship engagement generally ranges from three (3) to six (6) months, depending on the student's individual availability, dedication, and learning pace.
Mentorship fees are strictly non-refundable once enrollment has been finalized. Mentorship sessions, 1:1 guidance, and mentor support are delivered exclusively within the agreed mentorship timeline.
While mentorship enrollments include one (1) year of platform access to review materials and resources, this extended platform access does not create any right to a refund, partial refund, or credit, regardless of whether mentorship sessions have been fully utilized.
13. Course Access and Expiry
In accordance with Section 2 of our Terms & Conditions, all cohort enrollments include one (1) year of access to:
- Course curriculum, slides, and learning materials
- Recorded lecture sessions and video libraries
- Associated source code repositories and resources
The access period is calculated strictly from the official start date of the enrolled batch. Upon expiration of the one-year access period, access to the course content and platform resources will be revoked.
Students wishing to maintain or restore access must pay the prevailing renewal fee. The expiration of a course access period—whether the student completed the curriculum or left it unused—does not result in any refund, credit, or fee adjustment.
14. Technical Problems on the Student's Side
Students are solely responsible for ensuring that they possess the necessary hardware, software, and connectivity required to participate in Codekaro programs. This includes:
- A reliable, modern computer (laptop or desktop) capable of running relevant development tools
- A stable, high-speed internet connection sufficient for streaming live video classes
- Compatible, updated web browser software and operating system environments
- Working audio and video peripheral equipment
Codekaro is not responsible for learning disruptions, session interruptions, buffering, or missed coursework caused by the student's own local device, network limitations, local ISP outages, or software configuration errors. Technical difficulties on the student's end do not qualify for refunds.
15. Career and Outcome-Related Refunds
Codekaro provides industry-aligned technical training, practical projects, code reviews, and mentorship. However, Codekaro does not guarantee:
- Job placement or employment offers
- Internship positions or apprenticeships
- Guaranteed interview calls or screening shortlists
- Specific salary thresholds, increments, or compensation packages
- Freelance contracts or consulting engagements
- Promotions or accelerated career advancements
Career outcomes depend directly on individual dedication, practice, portfolio quality, interview performance, soft skills, relevant work history, and prevailing macroeconomic and hiring conditions. Disappointment with career outcomes or personal hiring results does not create any right to a refund.
16. Account Sharing and Misuse
Each course enrollment and user account is strictly personal and intended solely for the single individual student who registered for the program.
Unauthorized sharing of login credentials, screen sharing or streaming of lectures to non-enrolled individuals, redistributing recorded sessions, or copying course materials, code files, and downloadable assets is strictly prohibited.
Any violation of this account security policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of platform and batch access without any refund, consistent with Section 10 of our Terms & Conditions.
17. Violation of Student Code of Conduct
All students are required to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and ethical manner across all Codekaro spaces, including live lectures, discussion groups, community channels, and direct mentor communications.
Engaging in prohibited conduct, including but not limited to:
- Harassment, bullying, defamation, or intimidation of students, mentors, or staff
- Dissemination of hate speech, discriminatory remarks, or hostile behavior
- Promoting religious or political propaganda
- Sharing obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Disrupting classes, chat channels, or learning activities
- Violating community guidelines or platform rules
may result in immediate removal from the batch, community forums, and learning portal without prior notice and without any refund, as stipulated in Section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
